What We Do

Coming from years of experience in the financial field, we set out to repair, redefine and reinvent the role of financial adviser and improve the relationship between client and adviser for a stronger bond and more personal and productive future. Through our Family Office Services, we are able to provide the expertise derived from our long history of offering detailed services to our clients and their related partnerships, foundations, and other entities.

Global Financial Private Client’s broad offerings include, but are not limited to, tax mitigation, asset protection, wealth management, lifestyle services and cash flow analysis. Our dedicated and experienced team of professionals can provide an array of services necessary for your family, from assistance with lending, risk management, special projects and banking matters to financial reporting, and more, making for the perfect, personalized, family office.

Who Needs Us?

We represent a very select group of families and act as their personal CFO. We have no interest in multitudes of relationships, only the ones we can bring the most value to. This starts with a comprehensive discovery process (listening) to identify gaps that exist. Once these leaks are identified, usually in the investment, tax and legal areas, we then lay out a plan to plug the holes. Trust accelerates quickly between us and the family - we quickly move to the position of "the first call".

How does your firm deliver integrated services and what does that mean for your clients?:

"Integrated Services" to us means "End-to-End". What it means for our clients is a fully integrated, seamless process around the family wealth. Perhaps the best way to explain this is to describe an early on family relationship discovery meeting. Family client comes in, first meeting is with Banker to discuss personal banking needs. Then, bookkeeper and CPA transition in to discuss monthly reporting formats, bill paying and income tax needs which leads to legal discussion of current family transition plans and initial gap discussions. Wealth Management, risk and asset allocation are discussed with Senior Analyst and Certified Financial Planner®. All of this is quarterbacked and led by the Relationship Director and Manager.

Most clients do not need "End-to-End" at the early stages of the relationship, but can benefit from the institutional pieces they currently need already built and proven out. Many families start with one or two pieces and eventually grow and develop to need "End-to-End".

What core services do you provide for your average client profile?:

Having a long history of owning a integrated Institutional Wealth Management Firm and CPA Firm, gives us great experience around the simple to most complex discussions in the below simple and unique areas:

Tax Planning and Preparation - focus on lines 2-7 and beyond of the 1040; active tax minimization planning all year long.

Exit Planning - golden parachute development, post employment consulting agreements, severance package design, legal protection on the way out.

Real Estate Advise - general partner help, financing expertise, valuation analysis for future, minority partner education.

Wealth Transition - estate planning and asset protection so the wealth goes where you want it and how you want it whilst disinheriting the Internal Revenue Service along the way. This needs to be fully integrated with the income tax and asset management pieces to avoid unnecessary costs and fees.

Asset Management - institutional access and allocation to minimize fees and expenses. Buy in bulk and direct; no middlemen. Place fees in the right accounts, have a safe foundational piece, obtain sector allocation and active investing, add on direct private equity where needed.

Global Financial Private Client’s broad offerings include, but are not limited to, tax mitigation, asset protection, wealth management, lifestyle services and cash flow analysis. What is your firm's investment philosophy?:

Don't blow it up!

What are your firm's mission, vision and values?:

More than Wealth Management, we strive to offer clarity to help you to reach, achieve and exceed Life's goals. To bring about a new dimension of service, one based in trust, accessibility with deep ethical beliefs and simple, clear, personal, connections.

How are your client teams structured to deliver services to their clients?:

A Relationship Director and Relationship Manager champion the team and network of Senior Investment Analyst, Certified Financial Planner®, and CPA. We integrate or assign a direct banking, risk management, and legal generalist (LL.M).

How would you describe your ideal client?:

A Family Steward looking to offload the minutiae associated with managing the family affairs so they can focus on what is most important to them in life. The head of the family operates like a Chairman of the Board or CEO, but does not get pulled down into the weeds of the daily or monthly operations.

What are the top three characteristics that distinguish your firm the most from your competitors?:

Our families tell us the main driver of our differentiation is that we are them. In practicing for over thirty years and personally going through a lucrative liquidity event, we are just like them. We feel the things they feel. This is not something we have just read about - we have lived and live it. Secondly, since we built and sold a financial firm that manufactured financial products that "rang the bell on the NYSE", we also understand the good and challenging pieces that make up the financial world. Lastly, we are a client of our Family Office and want to independently deliver a holistic model to all without any conflict.

What communication methods have you used with your clients?:

We communicate on a customized basis dependent on what the family wants. Nothing beats "pressing the flesh" face-to-face but we understand the constraints of time and will communicate however is needed. We are very virtual and meet our clients across the country as requested.

What formal and informal client education programs does your company provide?:

We do this mainly through the ongoing collateral, whitepaper, and video conferencing. On occasion, this will also be done more formally at a client family meeting.

How do you approach risk analysis for your clients?:

We utilize many tools, but the real magic is pairing the "technical" risk analysis with the "reality" risk acceptance. It is also critical to monitor this over time as the client life cycle is changing and developing.

What are the credentials and qualifications of your firm management and staff?:

You will find all of the normal "industry credentials" on the Team. In addition, and critically important, you will find vast experience. Our lead Relationship Director has 32 years, lead Relationship Manager has almost 40 years, lead Analyst has over 30 years and main VP over 10 years. This team has worked together for a very long time. This creates synergies you cannot read about or manufacture. In the end, this is a tremendous benefit for the Family.

What is your firm's expertise with alternative investments?:

We believe alternative investments come in a series of four buckets. These buckets are early Private Equity, mid-stage/growth Private Equity, late-stage Private Equity and Debt. If Private Equity is of interest to the family, we build out a custom slice of the allocation to fit that objective.
