The purpose of the award is to honor the legacy of Glen W Johnson. Glen was a distinguished attorney, leader, friend, and mentor to countless individuals in the Family Office space, and a supporter of local and national organizations.

NOMINATE SOMEONE

The Glen W Johnson Legacy Award will be presented to an individual who has distinguished themselves through extraordinary achievements in business, the professions, civic engagement, a member or former member known to FOX. The honoree will demonstrate the characteristics and values espoused by Glen:

CONNECTOR The person is a natural connector of people, with a genuine concern with helping to connect people who can mutually benefit from knowing each other and/or learning from one’s situation.		INCLUSIVE The person helps build bridges among people with differing viewpoints or different backgrounds.
INSPIRING The person possesses a strong moral character, inspires others to reach their potential. He/she is encouraging, optimistic, and a visionary.		EFFECTIVE The person has been highly effective in his or her field and has a measurable record of accomplishment.
PHILANTHROPIC The person has demonstrated exceptional acts of philanthropy to the community as an individual or through his/her work.		SOCIALLY INVOLVED The person has worked to support organized public or private social services for the assistance of disadvantaged groups.

Nominated persons may be:

• An individual
• Working or has worked in any sector in support of the family office industry (private, nonprofit, or public)
• Working or has worked in any field (such as Family Office, business, education, wealth management, professional services, economic development, or philanthropy) in support of the family office industry

2023 Selection Committee

The Selection Committee is comprised of individuals who were selected because of their personal and/or professional relationship with Glen W Johnson and can attest to the general qualifications of the nominees.

In choosing the recipients of the Glen W Johnson Legacy Award, the Selection Committee will consider information and biographies on each candidate.
