San Francisco is leading the nation in applying technological solutions to financial challenges, and Bay Area investors are particularly focused on investing in innovation. At FOX, we wanted to bring together private investors from around the Bay Area to hear from three interesting FinTech companies.
This event will be a discussion, facilitated by Kristi Kuechler of Family Office Exchange (FOX), about trends in FinTech, and will highlight the work of three firms headquartered in San Francisco, creating innovative solutions in the space. This event is for wealth owners and family office executives.

Hunter Horsley is CEO of Bitwise Asset Management, which pioneered the first cryptocurrency index fund and is the leading provider of rules-based exposure to the cryptoasset space. Hunter was previously Product Manager on monetization at Facebook and Instagram. He received his BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Stoyan Kenderov is the SVP of Product and Design at LendingClub – the largest peer-to-peer marketplace lender in America. His teams are responsible for the growth and evolution of an already successful portfolio of products that millions of customers use every year to get out of debt and to invest in helping others get out of debt.
Prior to LendingClub, Stoyan was the head of Product at Quicken – the most successful personal finance management tool used by millions of Americans to manage close to one trillion dollars of wealth. He held various leadership roles at Intuit, Amdocs, XACCT Technologies and KPN-Qwest and has worked in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, South East Asia and the US.
Stoyan co-founded 2 start-ups and participated in 4 successful exits and is presently an active investor and advisor to early stage and growth stage start-ups across the world.
He holds a M.Sc. in Computer Sciences from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, and a degree in Mathematics and Financial Engineering.
Samvit is Founder & President of Equidate, the stock market for private companies. He has extensive expertise in engineering, product development, and product growth. He went through the Y Combinator program and started his first venture-backed company when he was nineteen years old. Prior to starting Equidate, Samvit co-founded Streem, a cloud storage company which was acquired by Box in 2014. Samvit is an active angel investor and frequently invests in startups through S2 Capital, where he serves as founding partner. His previous work spans numerous startups, most recently including Asana where he built out distributed systems infrastructure and Livemagic where he developed audio fingerprinting algorithms. In a previous life, he conducted research on high temperature superconductivity at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Samvit holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
