Michael S. Jacoby
Head of the Central and Southeast Regions, Head of the Global Family Office Group, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management 

Michael Jacoby is a Managing Director and the Head of the Central and Southeast Regions. He also serves as the Head of the Global Family Office Group. Mr. Jacoby leads a team of professionals who work with wealthy families around the globe to help manage their complex financial needs, overseeing the creation, integration and implementation of client solutions ranging from investment strategies, financing, master custody and reporting.

Mr. Jacoby joined Bankers Trust in 1981 as a part of the Corporate Finance group, later moving to Global Markets before joining Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. He has been the Office Director for the Chicago office since 1999, where he developed the Bank’s approach to covering the family office client segment.

Mr. Jacoby is a founding board member of Do Your P’Art, an organization devoted to bringing together inner city and suburban children through art. He chairs the DB Foundation Chicago Allocation Committee, serves on committees for the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center and is a former Chairman of the Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Science at Miami University.

Mr. Jacoby earned his A.B. in Economics from Miami University and holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
 

Jacqueline Valouch
Director, Head of Philanthropy, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management 

Jacqueline Valouch is the Head of Philanthropy for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, based in New York. She leads global philanthropy efforts, working closely with private bankers, clients and their advisors on strategic philanthropy and charitable solutions. To that end, she helps clients align their charitable legacy with their overall wealth planning objectives. In addition, she counsels clients who wish to include the next generation in their charitable plans and who are seeking far-reaching and innovative approaches to their giving. 

Ms. Valouch has over 20 years of experience in the philanthropic area. After nearly a decade in private practice, Ms. Valouch joined Fidelity Charitable where, for the past 15 years, she led a team of charitable planning experts, and advised individuals, families and their advisors on how to incorporate charitable giving into their long-term planning goals. 

Ms. Valouch has been featured as a subject matter expert at numerous conferences and panels on a variety of charitable planning topics. She holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. from New York Law School, where she served as an adjunct professor of law teaching Charitable Organizations. Ms. Valouch sits on the Board of Directors for the Armory Foundation and is also a leadership member of the local Chapter of the Ellevate Network, a global professional network dedicated to the economic engagement of women worldwide. 
 

Ruth Easterling
Managing Director, Member Services

Ruth Easterling is Managing Director of Member Services for Family Office Exchange (FOX). In her role, she works with family and advisor members to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX. Ruth also moderates the Private Trust Company Network and works with the team at FOX to develop programming and insights for the Network. Ruth has held multiple roles at FOX including leading FOX member services, supervising the delivery of learning programs, and overseeing marketing to drive the redesign and brand initiatives that differentiate FOX today.

Prior to joining FOX, Ruth worked with the professional services firm Smith, Bucklin & Associates, which provides management and consulting services to more than 180 associations. She served as executive director to professional associations ranging in size from 300 to 4,000 members, re-engineering membership structures and planning processes to better enable organizations to maximize their potential through efficient governance structures and member participation. In addition, Ruth often consulted with international and national organizations on strategic planning and governance design. 

Ruth holds a B.A. degree in Management and Leadership from Judson College.

 

Patience Y. Marmer
Senior Relationship Manager

Patience Y. Marmer is a Senior Relationship Manager with Family Office Exchange (FOX). She works with family and advisor members to understand their objectives and provides guidance to help address their unique needs through the resources available at FOX.

Patience has been serving as a trusted advisor to ultra-wealthy individuals and family office clients for 20 years. She is a family office generalist with deep areas of expertise in loss prevention and insurance risk management, global fine art collection operations, multi-estate and stable management, luxury service operations, and special projects. 

Patience presently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Private Risk Managers Association.  She has worked in many of the 42 countries she has visited and proudly served on the world’s largest non-governmental hospital ship, the M/V Anastasis, for 3 years. She studied Fine Art and History at the University of Illinois and The Art Institute of Chicago.
