• Facilitated discussion: Family Office Exchange Managing Director Charlie Grace
• Participants set forth top 3 issues in advance to spur discussion
• Issues occupying the minds of owners (examples: enterprise planning, generational transition, next generation education, specifics about investment approach, etc.)
• Pre-work template will be issued and should be submitted to Meghan McWalters (mmcwalters@familyoffice.com) at Family Office Exchange by 29th July 2016

• Facilitated discussion: Family Office Exchange Australia New Zealand Market Leader Melissa James
• Participants set forth 3 issues in advance to spur discussion
• Issues occupying the minds of executives (examples: relationship of family office and family enterprise, family office services and cost benefit, family office best practices, staff compensation, oversight of the family office and enterprise, etc.)
• Pre-work template will be issued and should be submitted to Meghan McWalters (mmcwalters@familyoffice.com) at Family Office Exchange by 29th July 2016

10.30am In-depth Examination of the Family Enterprise and Family Constitutions
(90 mins)
• Research and facilitated discussion: Family Office Exchange Managing Director Charlie Grace
• What is a family constitution? How does the document fit with legal mandates (such as a shareholder agreement) or estate planning (including a trust or other entities holding financial assets)? Is a family constitution binding? What is the relationship between the family constitution and culture of the family? The session will examine these questions among others and the typical component parts of a family constitution. The topic will also be put in the broader context of family governance and the family enterprise as well as best practices and how the document can be made integral and durable for the family.

1.00pm “Top of Mind” Investment Issues including Direct Private Equity
(75 mins)
• Facilitated discussion: Family Office Exchange Managing Director Charlie Grace and Australia New Zealand Market Leader Melissa James
• Research to help frame discussion includes 2016 data from Family Office Exchange 2016 Global Investment Survey on direct private equity investments
• Pre-work template will be issued and should be submitted to Meghan McWalters (mmcwalters@familyoffice.com) at Family Office Exchange by 29th July 2016
2.15pm Aligning the Single Family Office (and Family Enterprise) and the Family
(60 mins)
• FOX Research and facilitated discussion: Family Office Exchange Managing Director Charlie Grace and Australia New Zealand Market Leader Melissa James
• Alignment of interest between single family offices and family members (including any diversity among households or branches) with exploration of the following areas: Service needs, talent and skill set (including compensation) in the office, mechanisms for oversight of the family office, building for future family requirements, and integration of third party advisors into the enterprise system.
• Session goal is to share ideas about typical issues and approaches for creating an intentional approach to aligning interest between families and their family offices.

3.30pm Building Partnerships between Families and Advisors when Sustaining Wealth

• The characteristics and strategies that comprise a strong partnership and what wealth owners and advisors want from each other will be addressed
• Perspectives of the wealth owner and the advisor will be explored in the session
