Global Family Council Meeting

Overview

Tuesday, October 2, 2012 - 2:00pm to Wednesday, October 3, 2012 - 10:00pm

Dr. David Young, chairman of Oxford Analytica and former Special Assistant to U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger will discuss what looms over the horizon in world affairs and the implications for the preservation and growth of wealth. A subsequent session will tie ‘secular’ global trends to the development of a long-term view of the family’s wealth strategy. Additionally, Jim O’Neill, Chairman of Goldman Sachs will offer his thoughts on "A Global Multi-Generational Investment Strategy Perspective," in particular how families execute on a long-term investment strategy in a more volatile world. We will examine current thinking on strategic asset allocation shifts, in addition to hearing a presentation of research into best practices of successful global multi-generational family enterprises, and finally discuss a case study of a family progress report in support of developing future family leaders.
