10:15 a.m.		Case Study: PIC Member Speaker: PIC Member A Council member will share their investment approach and current challenges, and hear feedback from other Council members.
11:00 a.m.		Families and the Optimization of an Investment Program Speaker: Charlie Grace, Managing Director, Family Office Exchange Building out and maintaining an investment program is hard work. It requires marrying strategy and operations. As such, are there preferred ways to combine investment objectives and processes? How do families best integrate third party advisors with internal family office staff into an effective team? How is accountability best implemented when there are multiple responsible parties? Are there do's and don’ts for investment decision-making? How can direct investing be efficiently integrated into an existing diversified investment program? What are the most critical checks and balances in the family office? This session will share data from the FOX Global Investment Survey, input from FOX members as well as FOX consulting clients, as we lead a discussion around these questions.

1:30 pm		The State of Venture Capital The venture capital industry has experienced significant change and disruption over the past 10 years, with new Emerging Managers reshaping the landscape. Jim Marshall, head of Emerging Manager for Silicon Valley Bank, will discuss how this shift has played out and how to consider opportunities with "emerging" managers in venture. Jim will also provide an update on the overall state of the venture capital market and will cover performance, fundraising, valuations, liquidity, and share his thoughts on the opportunities in venture at this point in the cycle.

3:15 pm		Direct Investing Discussion: Recent Deals, Current Projects, and Future Opportunities to Partner Facilitated by: Kristi Kuechler, Family Office Exchange
4:15 pm		Actionable Next Steps Facilitated by: Kristi Kuechler and Charlie Grace, Family Office Exchange We will digest the learnings from the Investment Forum and the Council discussions to set actionable next steps for each member, and brainstorm the next Council agenda.
