Overview
Please join us Thursday, April 29, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am CT, for a live and interactive virtual meeting with the FOX Rising Gen community. These experiences are available to all members of FOX’s Rising Gen community who are looking for opportunities to build relationships, have authentic conversations, and gain action-oriented new ideas.
In any family, welcoming a new spouse or family member that has come of age presents opportunities and challenges. In a family of wealth, those ups and downs oftentimes become more pronounced with the complexity brought by family enterprise structure, finances, and responsibility. When do you begin to share your family’s history, vision, and values with your partner? How do you ensure that they feel welcomed, included, and prepared to participate as a member of the family? What do you do if there is family resistance to your spouse being included? How do you ceremonially welcome a young adult into the family assembly? What are the different needs of young family members versus new spouses?
In this meeting, you'll hear from a panel of rising gen members sharing their personal experiences and family office best practices. We look forward to a lively discussion on Family and Partner Onboarding. Through an open house format, come prepared to ask your questions and share your own experience with the good, the bad and the in-between of family onboarding practices. Whether you already have a partner, are planning for the future, or are navigating including the spouse’s of others in your family, leave this meeting with a few more ideas and action items for how you will promote family cohesion through positive onboarding and inclusion practices.
