In his role, Ed works with various Councils, where members can share experiences, ideas and best practices with peers in a confidential environment. Ed also serves as a relationship manager for Canadian members, helping to understand their unique needs and provide them with access to objective guidance and FOX resources.
Serving families and operating companies as a trusted advisor for over 25 years in the areas of strategy, family office, capital markets, governance and succession, Ed brings significant experience to FOX and its Canadian members. Most recently, Ed was CEO of Pelmorex Investments Inc. ("PII"), the Morrissette family enterprise, where he continues in his role as an advisor to, and director of, PII and its core operating company. Prior to PII, he had a successful career as a senior investment banker advising Canadian and international clients on strategic matters.
Ed has also held the positions of senior partner and Managing Director of Crosbie & Company; Head of the Toronto office of Rothschild & Co, the family-controlled Global Advisory firm; and Managing Director of CIBC World Markets. Ed has also participated in many conferences and appeared in the media discussing such topics as succession, capital markets and other financial matters. Ed is active in the Toronto community as a member of the President’s Council of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation since its inception in 2008, and as a past director of Prostate Cancer Canada until its merger with Canadian Cancer Society. Ed earned an HBA and MBA from the Ivey Business School, Western University.

Andrea Milo

Andrea is a Partner in KPMG’s GTA Enterprise tax and family office practices. With more than 20 years of experience as a tax professional, Andrea’s current practice specializes in providing tax advisory and compliance services to Canadian-owned private companies across industry sectors. Andrea also advises high net worth families and business owners by developing tax planning strategies that enhance personal and family wealth including minimizing taxation on the transfer of wealth from one generation to the next, succession and estate planning.
Andrea’s tax experience includes working with domestic and multinational organizations (public and private) supporting them in varying capacities including Canadian corporate tax accounting, tax planning and advisory, corporate tax compliance, M&A transactions, tax controversy, Canadian/U.S. domestic and cross-border personal income tax compliance and advisory, and trust & estate planning.
Throughout her career, Andrea has served clients across industries including retail, technology, manufacturing, transportation, tourism, media and publishing, financial services, pension funds, oil & gas, energy, and mining.
