CHICAGO, December 12, 2017 – Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global membership community of enterprise families and their key advisors, is pleased to announce that Ann Dugan, Senior Managing Director, Advisory & Education Services has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the National Philanthropic Trust.
The National Philanthropic Trust (NPT) is a public charity dedicated to providing philanthropic expertise to donors, foundations, and financial institutions, enabling them to realize their philanthropic aspirations.
NPT was founded in 1996. Since that time, it has received approximately $10 billion in charitable contributions and currently manages over $5 billion in charitable assets. NPT has made grants globally and ranks among the 25 largest grantmaking institutions in the United States while ranking 14th in the Chronicle of Philanthropy list of the 400 Leading Charities in 2017.
Ann Dugan joined FOX in 2016 after a nearly 30-year career starting and growing one of the most successful university-based entrepreneurship and family enterprise organizations in North America. Identified as the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence of the University of Pittsburgh, it continues to thrive today after Ann led her own successful transition in 2014. Throughout her professional career, Ann has been involved, as a board member or a consultant, with numerous family foundations around the world helping them explore their philanthropic interests to improve conditions for mankind.
Today, Ann leads the FOX Advisory Services team with delivery of advanced advisory services to many of the world’s most substantial family enterprises as they strive to achieve long-term sustainability and multi-generational success.
