Coaching as a leadership skill set in the overall vertical leadership development (Part 2) Greg McCann, Former Director of Stetson University's Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) Program McCann & Associates This 3.5-hour session will build on our evolving work on coaching as a leadership skill set in the overall vertical leadership development/Leadership Agility. Essentially, we want to deepen our coaching mindset, skills, and peer coaching relationship. As Mariann and I work to create more white space in our meetings, we hope you will consider using that space for healthy, audacious risks to take during this newly created space/time with your peer coaching. Objectives 1. Brief discussion of the mindset related to self-care and leadership development as a cause of success not a result. 2. To begin with a self-reflection, mindfulness exercise of your aspirations related to coaching in general and peer coaching in particular. 3. To deepen coaching skills and mindset of coaching as a leadership style or “gear” for use in peer coaching, in leading your family office staff, in interactions with your client family, and other areas of your life. 4. To apply all of this, via a group discussion on sustainability and accountability of your leadership development in in general and peer coaching in particular. Bring your head, heart, gut/intuition, and soul to this session!

Insurance Session Two top executives will lead this session, and they have had experience implementing insurance coverage at a well-known law firm when it was broader than just insurance. They took a holistic approach to risk management for the family office, obtaining a new insurance policy and then reviewing and revising the language in their service agreements, LLC operating agreements, and other legal documents, to make sure the language in all documents was coordinated and consistent and in line with the insurance provisions where appropriate.
