The purpose of this council is to elevate the professional and personal performance of the participants. Participants will get peer advice, and learn from appropriate experts to improve their performance.

Each Council works from a FOX developed curriculum that is tailored to the needs of the Council. Meetings include content from the curriculum as well as specific topics and discussions requested by the Council members. FOX provides the appropriate internal and external resources for lively, fruitful meetings.

3:30 p.m.		Family Learning Workshop Using the FOX Continuous Learning Map™ and your learning goals as a starting point, an experienced family learning officer, will lead us in a workshop designed to leverage the brainpower and experience of the group to develop a learning framework for your next family meeting or retreat. She will share samples of individual family learning plans and lessons learned from her work with rising gen family members.

8:30 a.m.		2018 Accomplishments and #1 Challenge for 2019 Facilitated by Jane Flanagan, Family Office Exchange Interactive discussion. All members will share a short overview of their 2018 accomplishments and their top priority for 2019. For each accomplishment, please include the original goal, the end result, and the impact on the organization and the client.

10:15 a.m.		Case Study: The Secret to Consistent Service Delivery How do you ensure that every client of the office has an exceptional service experience? What service standards has your office used to ensure consistence across service teams? In this session, the speaker will share her office’s approach. We will then open this to the group for discussion.

11:15 a.m.		Case Study: Lessons Learned from A Family Retreat In this session, the speakers will share their recent experience with a multi-generational family retreat where 116 of 142 adults attended. They will share their approach to the planning process, pre-work, and tips for engaging family members so that all feel welcome and that they have a voice in the process.

1:15 p.m.		Book Discussion: Raised Healthy, Wealthy & Wise: Lessons from Successful and Grounded Inheritors on How They Got That Way by Coventry Edwards-Pitt. Raised Healthy, Wealthy & Wise breaks new ground in the field of raising children amid wealth by hearing from the success stories: real-life children raised with wealth now grown into happy, healthy, and productive adults. Nationally recognized wealth advisor Coventry Edwards-Pitt draws on her many years of professional experience to interview successful heirs and uncover what works-and what doesn't-in raising wealthy children to lead fulfilling and productive lives. While there is a lot of advice out there for affluent parents, this is the first book that allows us to hear directly from children who survived the gauntlet of being raised with wealth and emerged happy, healthy, and productive on the other side. Why do they think they have become successful? What went right? And how? Each Council member will come prepared to discuss two key takeaways from the book and how they might use these in their offices.
