This half day meeting on managing risk convenes family leaders of business owning families to discuss the process of identifying and isolating risks within the family enterprise, specifically relating to business and liquidity financing.

This half day session, co-led by Family Office Exchange and TriState Capital Bank, is directed towards business owning families looking to understand the potential risks inherent within the family enterprise, and more specifically, to learn how risks relating to raising capital and obtaining financing for liquidity needs, both within and outside the operating business can be managed.

Mariann Mihailidis, Managing Director, Councils

Mariann oversees the FOX member councils, which are private networks of close peers working together to advance their professional development and to solve the unique challenges they face in their management of private wealth. She has extensive experience in the accounting and legal fields. As a practicing tax and estate planning attorney, she develops strategies in wealth transfer issues, taxes, and corporate structures.

 

 Charles B. Grace III, Managing Director

Charles B. Grace, III is Managing Director at FOX. Charlie works on strategic planning projects for families and family offices as well as wealth management advisor clients. He has more than 20 years experience in the family office community advising high-net-worth families and has been quoted in various publications on the subject of private wealth management, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Worth Magazine. In addition to his responsibilities at FOX, Charlie has been active on the Board of the single family office Ashbridge, LLC since 1992 and in 2010 was named President. He is a Trustee and member of the Investment Committee of the non-profit Tuttle Fund, Inc. in New York City.

 

Charles Fawcett, TriState Capital Bank

As President of TriState Capital’s Private Bank, Chuck oversees the Relationship Management team. TriState Capital’s Private Bank cultivates relationships with family offices, wealth management firms, and individual high-net-worth clients on a regional and national basis. The Private Bank at TriState Capital also provides lending and deposit services to the executives of the companies TriState Capital serves
 

David Molnar, TriState Capital Bank

Dave Molnar serves as President, Commercial Banking, where he is responsible for TriState Capital’s Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate sales efforts throughout its markets.  
 
Prior to this, Dave served as Regional President of TriState Capital Bank’s Western Pennsylvania operation where his responsibilities included managing the business development opportunities of the relationship management team in Western Pennsylvania. With more than 30 years of banking experience, Dave has spent much of his career coordinating business development efforts, serving as a team leader and increasing middle market loan production in the Pittsburgh region. 
 

 John Catsimatidis, Red Apple Group

 John Catsimatidis is the Chairman and CEO of the Red Apple Group.  The Red Apple Group has holdings in oil  refining, retail petroleum products, convenience stores, supermarkets, real estate and aviation. His first store in 1968 on  Manhattan's Westside at 99th Street and Broadway. This supermarket evolved into Manhattan's largest, high quality  supermarket chain, Gristedes Supermarkets. An icon of Manhattan, Catsimatidis took over the 114-year-old company, Gristedes, transforming it into a staple of New York City life.  In the mid-1980's, Catsimatidis broadened his interests beyond the supermarket industry.  United Refining Company of Warren Pennsylvania was added to Catsimatidis' holdings along with approximately 400 gas stations and convenience stores.
