Bud Mingledorff, Chairman, Board of Directors, Mingledorff’s, Inc.
Bud Mingledorff is Chairman of the Board of Mingledorff’s Inc. The company is a family owned heating & air conditioning equipment distributorship with a 75-year history. Mr. Mingledorff’s father, Walter “Lee” Mingledorff, founded the company in 1939. Atlanta serves as company headquarters with 34 locations in Georgia, Alabama, the panhandle of Florida and portions of South Carolina and Mississippi. With $350 million in sales, Mingledorff’s ranks as the second largest privately owned distributor in the air conditioning industry and is 35 times the size of its average competitor in the Southeast. Mingledorff’s employs 450 people and is currently managed by its fifth president.
Mr. Mingledorff has been civically active serving as president of a Kiwanis Club and Rotary Club, Division Chairman with the Gwinnett County United Way, and as a board member and president of multiple industry associations. He is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC with a degree in accounting. Mr. Mingledorff served in the US Army, 1968 to 1970.
Dennis R. Wright, Managing Director, The Wellspring Group, LLC
Dennis is a principal and managing director of The Wellspring Group with over 20 years of experience assisting affluent multi-generational families, family offices, and their advisors. In addition to practicing in Atlanta, he oversees principle operations for Wellspring in Savannah, Georgia and Chicago, Illinois. His practice area is Wealth Integration™. Dennis was previously an executive level manager with GE Medical Systems.
Dennis received a Bachelor’s degree with special honors from the University of Southern Mississippi and completed his Master of Business Administration at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Dennis is an active member of the Atlanta and Savannah Estate Planning Councils, a guest speaker for the Fiduciary Law Section of the Georgia Bar and Georgia Society of CPAs, as well as a member of the AALU. He prides himself on working closely with select law, accounting and financial services firms.
Mariann Mihailidis, Managing Director, Family Office Market
Mariann Mihailidis serves as managing director and consultant to family office members of the Family Office Exchange. In her role she oversees the management of all domestic family office relationships. As a practicing tax and estate-planning attorney, she develops strategies in wealth transfer issues, taxes, and corporate structures. Ms. Mihailidis has served as an executor and trustee, and her fiduciary responsibilities included administrative, legal, and accounting duties of various trusts and estates.Prior to joining FOX in 1996, Ms. Mihailidis worked in one of America’s leading family offices for four years as an accounting manager for the family’s investment partnerships and operating companies.She also spent more than six years in public accounting, including work as an auditor for Price Waterhouse.
Alexandre Monnier, President
Alexandre Monnier is President of Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global organization that helps wealthy families and their advisors master the unique challenges inherent to wealth ownership. He oversees FOX globally and has extensive experience in creating, marketing, and delivering premium services to families of wealth in the wealth management, private aviation and healthcare industries – in the US and internationally.
He joined FOX from PinnacleCare, a leader in private health advisory services, where he led the development of the business in the U.S. and in Europe. Earlier Alexandre ran Skyjet, Bombardier Aerospace’s private jet charter business. Previously he spent 10 years as a management consultant serving firms internationally. He started his career in finance with Societe Generale.
