Who We Are

Since 1989 Family Office Exchange (FOX) has been serving families, their offices, and their advisors for over 30 years, providing objective guidance and thoughtful solutions to the unique obstacles that family offices face.

FOX was the first and continues to be the industry-leading membership organization that brings together families, family office executives, and trusted advisors to build a community focused on peer exchange, continuous learning, and objective guidance. With a global community focused on family sustainability and impact, the FOX peer community includes over 300 multi-generational family groups from more than 25 countries.

What We Do

At FOX, our services cover a range of resources for our members. Educational events allow members of our community to learn from each other and industry leaders and our peer networking opportunities allow members to experience support and understanding in a judgment-free space that breeds collaboration.

Similarly, FOX research gives members an idea of where their offices are in relation to peers and provides the necessary benchmarking information to make change.

Official Marketing Partnership Program
As a FOX Official Marketing Partner, you will benefit from a year-long engagement with our global member community with access to and brand exposure at member events via FOX digital assets, event signage, and more. The Official Marketing Partnership Program includes Premier, Executive,
and Classic partnership levels and allows networking opportunities across the FOX network to some of the wealthiest families in the world.

Resource Partnership Programs
As a FOX Resource Partner, you will benefit from a year-long engagement tied to one of our resource partner programs, including Technology, Direct Investing, and Cyber and Security. The Resource Partnership Programs include Premier, Executive and Classic partnership levels, and all assets delivered through this partnership are solely related to the program with which they coincide.

More than 30 years ago, Sara Hamilton recognized that family wealth ownership is a complex and unique undertaking that needs thoughtful planning and execution. So she founded FOX in 1989 as a peer network for family office owners and executives facing common challenges but without shared, trusted platform to learn from each other.

Within a decade, FOX established itself as the go-to organization for owners and operators seeking unbiased education about managing their family enterprise and passing wealth successfully to future generations. Advisors joined the FOX community shortly after that to gain access to the same peer sharing, education, and insights, and to offer their unique contribution to the membership, given their critical role in service and partnering with families.

Over three decades, FOX has served as an industry advocate, a source of education and training for family members, office staff, and their advisors, and a platform for sharing enterprise best practices for preserving family values and family wealth.

By having access to a carefully curated community of select peers, members gain insights into how other families successfully navigate the complex issues they face and find practical solutions to unique and often emotionally charged situations. FOX also helps educate trusted advisors about what families want from their service providers.
