FOX Cyber & Security Member Meeting - February 14, 2023

Overview

Tuesday, February 14, 2023 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

Cyber & Security at FOX is focused on risk management for its membership including families, family offices, operating companies, and advisor organizations. FOX hosts a bi-monthly meeting comprised of different vendors and thought leader specialists whose focus is in the areas of cybersecurity, physical security, or personal security. FOX membership is invited to learn and discover the broadness of this kind of risk management and more importantly, directions and solutions to help face the challenges that come with it.

Ransomware Containment - A new approach to stopping Ransomware in its tracks: 100% prevention of Ransomware is very hard to achieve because the attack surface in organizations and companies is so big. This is why you need a containment solution to shut down illegitimate encryption within milliseconds of a Ransomware outbreak.

Microsoft 365 Security Risks and Best Practices: As organizations continue to migrate to Microsoft 365 and roll out additional functionality within the platform, often key risks of these services are overlooked. The solutions offer hundreds/thousands of security configurations, often defaulting to less secure setup to allow for greater functionality and sharing of information. Unfortunately, many organizations have had the benefits of the solution outweighed by breaches of their new solution. In this session, we’ll help quantify the risks of the 365 platform, discuss key risks we’ve seen exploited in the wild, as well as best practices to secure your environment.
