Regional Director, Membership Sales West Region

(based in Southern CA)

 

The Regional Director is responsible for taking a consultative approach to understand the needs of members and guide them to the resources they need to help them achieve their family’s objectives. You will generate qualified prospects in the East Region, cultivate relationships, and convert prospects into membership at Family Office Exchange. Primary responsibilities include developing sales strategies, growing the membership base, and meeting annual new business revenue targets for the firm.

  • Responsible for the entire Sales process of FOX services to Wealth Owners, Family Office Executives and Advisory firms. This process includes assessing prospects to determine if membership services or consulting are the best first step for engaging with FOX.
  • Define and achieve monthly and annual new membership sales and revenue growth goals utilizing a consultative sales approach, knowledge of the wealth management industry, and the tools and resources available within FOX, in conjunction with senior management.
  • Develop, cultivate and manage productive strategic alliances with carefully selected organizations/networks synergistic with FOX to reach groups of new prospects.
  • Proactively generate new qualified leads through referral source development as well as other networking and marketing activities.
  • Leverage existing and inbound leads to grow the membership base, consistent with specific qualifying criteria established by the firm’s senior management.
  • Develop an understanding of the changing business needs that prospective members face and effectively articulate the value proposition for the firm’s membership offerings.
  • Participate in development and implementation of product, pricing and go-to-market strategies.
  • Plan and execute effective sales strategies, plans and campaigns, in conjunction with Marketing.
  • Provide feedback on market and prospective member trends to the firm’s senior management on a quarterly basis and complete required sales reports and forecasts on a weekly basis.
  • Promote FOX and network with participants at selected industry conferences.

Essential Background and Demonstrated success

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced degree or professional certificate preferred) with 5 years of proven success in a sales position; experience selling intellectual or intangible products or services (including financial services) is a requirement.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a private client service role in wealth management or financial services required.
  • Proficient using a CRM (we utilize Dynamics 365)
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding personal/team sales goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales process and forecast with precision in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Knowledge of wealth management industry and the unique requirements of serving ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and negotiation skills; ability to create and effectively communicate persuasive arguments required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and credibility with senior level professionals and sophisticated Wealth Owners.
  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with prospective members, uncover their key issues and current needs, and nurture high-quality relationships based on trust and integrity
